Vampire Diaries “The Night of the Comet” re-air

Tomorrow night is Thursday and we all know what that means! Another taste of The Vampire Diaries to try to help hold you over until September. Tomorrow “The Night of the Comet” will re-air.

As Mystic Falls prepares for a festival to celebrate the passing of a comet, Vicki is in the hospital recovering from the attack she can barely remember. Stefan goes to the hospital and tries to use his abilities to make sure Vicki doesn’t remember what really happened, but his attempt is cut short when Vicki’s brother Matt arrives. Jeremy continues to struggle at school and with his feelings for Vicki. At a parent/teacher conference, Mr. Tanner makes Aunt Jenna feel that she is failing as a surrogate parent, especially when it comes to the self-destructive Jeremy. Elena decides to go to the Salvatore house to talk to Stefan, but finds his charming brother Damon instead. Damon reveals surprising information about Stefan’s past, and when Stefan arrives home, Elena is confused and embarrassed to realize that he isn’t happy to see her there. Meanwhile, Vicki’s memory of the attack begins to come back to her. Also, Damon begins to set his sights on Caroline.

Here’s an extended trailer for The Night of the Comet.

Following TVD will be Moonlight. They are re-airing Season 1, Episode 1: No Such Thing as Vampires
Moonlight was a short-lived series from 2007 that CBS unwisely cancelled before the world became infatuated with vampires all over again. Bet you they are kicking themselves over that one, Moonlight re-airs are becoming very popular and are growing a fan base years later. It’s a show worth checking out if you’ve never seen it and if you have seen it here is a chance to relive the first season.

Mick St. John is not your average P.I. He’s a vampire, he’s trying to make an (un)living in L.A, and maintaining his secret. A co-ed is murdered with vampiric undertones. A female reporter tries to find the culprit as well, and why Mick seems so familiar to her.

Here is a taste of Moonlight from the official CW promo.
